Mine was 87, but the fact that I'm semi-retired probably skews the total score. I know my drive to finish paying off my credit card debt raises my debt service percentage, but that's a good thing IMO.

I got 66... I kind of knew it would not be so high. I have an extremely high debts from my divorce and been doing awesome of paying it off... started at $65,000 and now whittled down to $14,000. I think the last year of paying it off is the hardest and I often have to tell myself I am doing well. But because of this, I can not do a lot of other things I need to do until this is paid off. But I do have one month EF and been maintaining my 401k of 10% (Company's matching program). Sigh....I just can't wait to move to the next level.

This is fun/informative but we need to understand that everyone is at a different unique point in their life and might not fit the mold.

True, Dollia, so true.

And by the way a picture is worth a thousand words so I'd say that counts.

Of course, I would think an older person would have a much higher score than a younger person.

I got an 86. I'm 35. I need a will, and need to know my tax bracket, and need to diversify.

Same here. My fiances are in good shape except I only earn about $800 a month. As soon as I earn more the scores will increase.

Yes it’s definitely true what standpoint people are at certain times in their financial journey.. I only have to pay a monthly of 5% towards my debts each month, but because I really want the debt out of my hair, I have been paying a whopping 56% of take home pay to pay off that debt. I figure I just have to temporarily work extremely hard at it for the next 6-8 months out of my comfort zone instead of slowly paying off the debts in the next 4 years to pay off the last bit of my debt. This make the quiz kind of skewed for me since I am keeping only one goal for the next 6 months and then I can think more about longer term goals and more reasonable budget planning.

I got an 87...

We still can't pay off our CCs in full every month and we don't have a will. We don't have anyone we want to give our daughter to if we both die! I know that is a really bad excuse, but we have talked until we are blue in the face and neither one of us can think of someone relatively young, stable and who shares our beliefs.

87. I need to write down goals and involve my family in accomplishing them. I don't always keep to a budget either. I blame my lack of organization for that and not having all the important documents in one place.

I have written down goals just about every year. I don't call them new year's resolutuions, but instead new year's goals. Most of my goals are financial ones. I write the date that I reach that goal, next to the goal
