Are you frugal, or stingy?

I don't really like to share with others, so I guess, I am stingy. But I don't like to share mostly because they spend money on the stuff that if I would buy all that stuff, I would be completly broke. And then they want me to share because I have more money. Yea, I have more because I spent less.


And I am not going to deprive my kids, so I could donate something or to impress others. Sometimes I buy toys for my kids, and I know they are going to break them, but at least they enjoy doing that. I would rather do that or pay extra towards my mortgage debt.

And whenever I donate something I make sure I don't need it and can't sell it and can write it off of my taxes. We do give money to church, well they have expences for the building and stuff like that, so I feel if I go there and spend time there, I don't mind donating.

Sometimes I feel like I am really stingy, but I always give and share with my family, and some friends. If my sister will ask me for $100, or even $1000, I will give it to her without even expecting her to pay me back, even if I would rebudget and make more cuts in my budget, but if some stranger will ask me to donate or loan the money, no way, not going to happen!
