Thanks. Eileen
Once you reach 15 posts and have been a member for a week, then the signature box should appear within 24 hours - it will in the next update. You should have it now - if not, please let me know.

You're not allowed to place a link in your signature until you have made 15 posts.

I am also new.

Edit: Thought there was some type of block. Why the error message every time I enter a new post?

I understand I need to post 15 times if I wanted a link in a sig but I can't seem to even find the "edit signature" option on my UCP. Any insight or advice would be appreciated.

@JGW That field won't show up until you have been a member long enough and made the required posts.

Default Arrogant Debt Collectors

Its a shame that such threatening techniques and lies are used to scare people in times of serious financial despair. I think the credit card companys and other institutions of this kind deserve to have there ass beaten. They throw credit up the limit to everyone with convenience checks telling clients..." Take a vacation, buy that gift you always wanted, pay for home improvement, ect., and try anything to get you to use the credit and once trouble comes with paying your bill because you are out of a job like about 10% of the country is they want to put the screws to you if you don't pay up. Lets see would I rather eat, have clothes on my back and shelter to protect me on unemployment checks or pau some asshole creditor that could care less. I think the priorities are clear what most of us would do with the lean income we have without jobs. Besides all this...what was Obamas Bailout package for the credit company about? Didn't they get their money from the government to pull them out of the hole? And isn't it us the taxpayers who are the ones giving the money to the Gov't to bail out these companys.? What's the deal??

Because of people like you who just want to promote their crap. I saw your posts over at the money talk forum. No one is going to buy your "manage money with text message" BS. I can manage my money for free on other programs

These forums are for people that want to participate is personal finance discussion. We are not a forum to primarily promote your website/blog (although when you make quality comments people will want to learn more about you). 15 is not many for those who are truly interested in participating since they will make many more than that, but enough to discourage many spammers.

yes i agree. Affiliate marketing is a marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate's own marketing efforts.affiliates often use regular advertising methods

Is there any way to delete old posts or threads that you no longer want available to others to read?

Thanks!

I can delete them or lock them out so people can no longer post on them, but I only delete the spam threads and postings. The old threads live on in perpetuity.

Why do you want to get rid of the old threads?
