I'm new, but this seems like an excellent site because of all the posting/linking rules. Less spam, and more valuable content :-)

Hi Jeffrey,

I apologized for not reading the terms myself and was guilty of adding my signature before the 15th post. Can I ask for reinstatement of that option please? Thanks.

The system should do it automatically. Please let me know if you are having any problems.

I need some help finding WHERE to edit my signature. I would like to include a link there, but I'm not sure where to look. Anybody help?

Hmm... it wasn't there earlier today. There must be a post minimum that I had to surpass or something.

Whatever the case may be, I got it on. Thanks!

Likewise; new member just wanting to say hello and that I am very happy to have found this site and excited to start digging into it. The only down side I see is that there is SO much info here that I want to read, plus I know that often times there is even more to gain from reading all the responses. I'll never get caught up!

all the best to the community...

If you have someting that you want to leave with every post you make, you can put it in your signature. The way to write your signature is:

Control Panel
Settings & Options
Edit Signature

It's mainly used by people that have a website or blog that they want to let others know exists.

You need to have 15 posts and be a member for at least a week before you can create a signature.

Is my signature ok? I dont know if mine was removed or not, but it wasnt on earlier today. I dont sell anything on my site, I just added it because I think it would be valuable to the users of this forum. I even added a back link for savingadvice on my website. I dont want to violate the rules or nothing, I am not spamming this is the only savings forum I am registered for. Let me know if there any problems. Thanks

Default Badge Suggestion

Totally different topic

Hello Jaffery,

As you might have noticed, I contribute to forum off and on. I also do blogs. You might have noticed my website. I also just added some of the quote links in my website. I was wondering why don't you have a badge for forum contributors so we can take pride in contributing to the savingadvice forum by putting in our website linking to saving advice. Just thought of suggeting you. It is now a tradition to link back to the network..

THink about it.

Thanks

Hi Jeffrey,

Does the site automatically allow a signature at 15 posts, or do you do this manually? I just made the 15 cut off;-).

Also, when I go to settings - I don't see the signature option, or will that appear after you've okayed it?

Thanks. Eileen
