Re: Basic Forum Rules Links & Signatures
I have been trying to figure out how to change my email address. I am canceling my server and I still want to get mail form this site. There is probably an easy way to do this but I am stuck (doesn't take much for an old lady like me!!!) Could someone pleasse help? I also wasn't sure where to ask but figured this was as close as I could get to a "ask Jeffery" forum!
Thanks

Click on "My Control Panel"
Click on "Edit Signature"
Use this syntax to create a link in your signature:
your web site
Of course, be sure that your link adheres to forum rules.

Re: Basic Forum Rules Links & Signatures
Did my signature get deleted? I had the link to my blog...is that against the rules? I read the first couple of posts in this thread...I was under the impression a link to my financial blog on this site was okay. No? Or am I computer illiterate and my signature just mess up on me?

Re: Basic Forum Rules Links & Signatures
See below is this an affiliate site? The only pay that is offered is if someone signs up but they are doing the shopping and they themselves are getting paid not me?
I just want to make sure to ask first it sounds like Ebates is an affiliate at first but now I don't know? I won't post anything else until I hear back from you I also hate for folks to miss out on shopping and getting paid to do it...

Hi Jeffrey, I feel like i know you so well already! I found this site while i was reading your "other oh-so-very cute" site. I won't actually mention that other site's name here, since i'm not sure what rules you might have against that. Here's my question regarding links: I read that you're ok with having people post links to their ebay or auction sites, but i own and run an ecommerce website that is not hosted by ebay or any other aution type site. Is it still ok for me to link?

The link is fine after you have 15 posts on the site as long as it is in the signature.

Edit Email & Password
Edit Profile
Edit Options
Edit Profile Picture
but no edit signiture.
Thanks,

Hey Mike,
You need at least 15 posts in order to have a signature. They do this to avoid people using this forum as a place to post links.
