How long should I wait?

I have a client who returned an email I sent him last Thursday. I returned his email on the same day, and he hasn't responded yet. How long should I wait to contact him again? Or should I? I'm just wondering mostly if I should call instead of email. But he returned my first email, so I don't see why he would care if I called him or emailed. Meh, I think too much.

if it is not urgent and it is business.. i would give a call to the client... if it is personal, i would give some time and let the client return a call or email to you.
