Smile Japanese Robot Helps Elderly?

i was just reading my email... engineers are creating a prototype of robot for the future to assist elderly with walking, stairclimbing, dressing, etc.
this would really save alot of money and assist the elderly... the robot can carry heavy loads, elderly can sit on robot seat, robot has 2 legs.. it could be mass produced in the next five years...what do you think?

Well, I guess it was a bit of a stretch, but I first thought of this article about the very life-like android that was created in Korea recently.

And that made me think of AI in which this family buys this android boy with very human-like features and actions. As with other similar movies and TV shows (for example, Data on Star Trek: TNG), there becomes a moral dilemma about whether these androids' feelings and emotions matter and whether they should have the same rights and privileges as humans do.
