my really nice mail lady.. rang the doorbell again this morning with more packages for my son... she stops by at least 3 times a week and chats and hands me the mail with pkgs... anyway, she handed me a card to read...
the national association of letter carriers in conjunction with the usps will be collecting non-perishable food items.. you can help by placing food itens at your mail box... it will be taken to the p.o. and then delivered to local food pantries and food banks. stamp out hunger food drive. this is in northeast oh.... don't know if it is nationwide or various states...

I always forget, this time I put the food in a bag today, wiht the card sticking out..One step closer to on the mailbox...

Thanks for the reminder I love helping out with this it makes me feel good!! And I swear the mail man gives me better mail because of it so you may want to give it a shot! Remember the more you give the more you shall recieve. I usually stockpile lots of stuff for free so I give lots that I havent paid much for at all!!

It's here in New Jersey -- we got a card about it on Wednesday -- and seeing this post was a good reminder! I'll have to look through my cupboard for some canned stuff to put out before the mailman comes.

You know I forgot about this but my mom did not and she placed items in the mailbo from our household, I hope a famliy that really needs it gets it
