Hmm, Bird Flu vs. American Idol. I'll have to pick American Idol.

LOL Sweeps. It was a hard decision here too, but son and hubby wanted to see the Bird Flu Movie. It is scary and I pray this pandemic doesn't happen.

Ill be watching Lost tonight. This movie looks like a waste of time...and the chaos it will cause frankly angers me.

The movie was on last night; Tuesday, May 9th.

I hope we never have a need to experience this or any pandemic. My grandmother died as a result of the Spanish influenza in 1918.

My mother's oldest brother died from the same thing in 1918. My mother told me about how many people died then.

I wouldn't even think of watching it, and the ads for it were horrible, making it look like it was real, don't we have enough hype and worry in the world today?

Honestly, I don't see it being a huge problem, at this time you just about have to kiss an infected duck to catch it and as much as I love our animals I'm NOT going to kiss my geese/chickens or turkeys, just ain't happening here!

I recently attended a class for my food handling certification and this bird flu is very real and very dangerous. It is not in the US yet. And I sure hope it never does. From what we were told it is very scary. I think that people do need to be educated. They say it will hit the US in about a year.
