Thumbs up did you watch david blaine tonite?

talk about discipline... this guy is too much.. we always are amazed at his stunts, so, to speak..... i watched screaming at moments, where he was in a sphere at lincoln center, nyc....they said he wanted to test his limits, endurance, emotionally, physically and mentally. He looked to be in a trance like state to me. He was in water for 7 days, 177 hours, confined in the tank. He spent more time underwater than any other human being.
He held his breath for 7 minutes and 8 seconds.. He did not beat the record for that... i think he was going to do 9 mins... the record was 8 mins.. and several seconds more. He had been handcuffed and chained on 8 parts of his body... nyc supported him very much as did most of america.... i think discipline and mine control has alot to do with financial, family, investing, and work experiences that we have. i was amazed and stunned.

My clostrophobia keeps me from watching....I honestly would have major clostrophobic anxiety....but I am sure it was exciting. (I tried to do the submarine ride at disneyland once, didnt know I had claustrophobia until we were down under the water.(the sub is only about 5 feet under water, but I still had a panic attack....thankfully, haven't had one since...)...what a nightmare. Won't do that again.

I can think of much better things to do with discipline than spend time in a bunch of water...I caught the tail end and I can't see doing that to my hands purely to get my name in the record books...

But I bet he got money for it...

I think Blaine is a cool guy. I don't really understand why he did all those 'feats' at the same time. Living in the tank for a week. Escaping from chains. And trying to break the breath record. He made it to 7:08, the record is 8:58. If he hadn't weakened himself by living in the tank, or concerned himself with holding chains and releasing himself, he may could have done it. Still, it is amazing to me that a person can hold their breath that long. I would be concerned about brain damage. Anyway, it was interesting enough to watch. His street magic stunts are amazing.
