Default Sold CC and credit score

In the last few months my cc has been sold to another company deos any one know if my score will go or down because now with the new account I would have had it for only a short period of time

I guess it depends on how the credit report displays it -- as a closed account, then a new account - or just changing the creditor's name on the account.

Did your account number change? In my experience, my account history didn't change when a card has been sold to another company.
