Kroger needs a good smack!

I have always participated in their little promotions. You know, use your card, select grocery choices, etc. But now they want you to sign up for a credit card in order to participate in the next promo. I don't like that! Why in the H*&% would I want to pay 20% interest for food? I can still use my card but I HAVE to have this card to get the special benefits. I have not signed up for it and will not. Just annoys me. They had a really good promo for a while that they sent you coupons. That kept me coming back and spending more than I probably would normally. I think that I will send a nasty gram to their headquarters.

Vote with your dollars and let them know at corporate. Also get others if you can to do the same thing. It is very expensive to get people into your store and corporate wants them coming back. Some nit wit up the line saw this as a quick way to raise revenue. Let them know it is not going to fly!
