Default Premium Gas @ $3.05 a gallon

When will this craziness of high gas prices end?

I saw it for $3.07 - made $2.97 seem like a bargain. Also makes that Prius look more enticing...

$2.51 for regular gas in central NJ.

Just went up to Saratoga Springs, NY (North of Albany) to meet up with friends this past weekend, gas was $2.75/$2.85/$2.95 there.

My friends had filled up in Rochester, NY for $2.90, regular.

I don't think any elections are going to stop this! With China and India industrializing there will be more use of fossil fuels. I see the price only going up in the future.

Kansas City is seeing $2.63 for regular unleaded (up from $2.47 just last night)! It's ridiculous.

Filled up at $2.81/gallon for regular gas on Tuesday. That's the cheapest I've found within a couple miles of my apartment -- many gas stations are around $2.86/regular along the expressway.

I dont think the gas will go down as long as people are willing to pay it. I think this is where the old supply & demand comes into effect ya know guess we should all be driving electric cars!!

I agree Snoopy, everyone is in business to maximize their profits and if people are willing to pay then prices will not be going down any time soon

it seems to vary in price more toward the weekends... i did see where pure and marathon were cheaper priced in our area, for a dime less than the competition...

Prices here vary drastically!!! One place will have it for $2.67 (yes, that is the price here as of this morning) then, right down the road it will be $2.77. I remember when gas prices used to be consistent no matter where you went. There would only be a penny or two difference.

As long as the supplies remain relatively tight and the economies and standards of living in from emerging countries like China and India continue to rise gas prices will stay high. Given the trends for outsourcing I say the prices will remain historically high assuming there will not be a major worldwide economic depression. Given what oil does it still is relatively cheap.
