Default Anyone Negotiate a Realtor's Commission of < 6% when selling your home?

Getting ready to sell my house.

Been lots of PR about real estate companies like Foxons that will sell your home for just 3% commission, but they're not full service brokers and offer limited marketing compared to a traditional real estate company.

I have also heard that traditional realtors representing buyers will show a house that they know is listed with an online broker only at the very very end cus they don't want the competition.

I'm wondering how receptive traditional realtors will be if i try to negotiate lower than 6%, which seems a ridiculous price to pay, esp. as i think my house will sell fairly easily (small modestly priced house in a very affluent town). I'm thinking as added incentive to offer a realtor who sells my house the opportunity to help me find a new home as well. I would think that would be worth 4% since they'll get 3% on the other end.

I have listed with a realtor several times. Twice I sold the spec house myself. Before I accepted, I called and asked if she would take half commission because she did not do anything. She was happy to take it, she should have been. The people did not find it thru multiple listing, they found it thru a friend.
The last one I listed for a 1% fee. All that did was put me in multilple listing service. He never showed the house and it sold quickly, so he made money.

Just an update. I got a traditional full service realtor to agree to 4.5% without too much trouble. Which makes me pretty sure i can get someone else to do it for 4%.
