Default TV Show - 30 Days

While I am probably the only person that didnt like super size me cause I thought it was extremely flawed (no I am not saying McDonalds is good for you), the guy who did that documentary has a new show called 30 days. I saw it the other night and it was quite interesting.

In this episode him and his girl friend had to live on minimum wage for 30 days. They started out with about 350 bucks and did it in Cleveland Ohio. The eye opener was when they had one medical emergency.

While I have been very lucky to have had health care my whole life, I think of my mother who is 58 and will not qualify for medicare for a while. Gives me a new thought on single payer system for health insurance. Has anyone else seen this show?

ANyone else seen the show?

No I haven't but it sounds good, when and what is in on. Oprah has got a financial show going on right now.
I am a little older than your mother, and I have no health care insurance either. I paid in $90,000 and never collected a dime, so I quit carrying it.

Thanks, CRFSaver. I did the minimum wage calculator. That was pretty cool!

We've seen it a few times -- it was actually on a few months ago. The show is pretty good, and they put different people in different types of situations. Kind of eye opening, kind of too hyped reality TV.

I watched it for a while...still remember the ones where they lived on a commune for 30 days and they wanted to kick morgan out because he wanted to eat meat! Have you seen the show preview for the familes that switch races?

I couldn't believe how much they spent at the movies! That was so unrealistic and irresponsible. Really sad when they missed the bus.
