HELLO - just started my Ebay store. Lots of yarn - BIG SALE NOW ntothing over $1.00.
I also created custome pages in my store to show my items that I make. Right now there are scarves. I am debating whether I can make the money I get from the local shops where I sell on consignment. I average $20.00 a scarf.
The camera I have right now stinks, but hopefully will get a better one so you can really see the details on the scarves. I also have some baby and toddler blankets, but they are already at craft shops, so as I make them I will post them too.

If you have a few minutes go check them out and give me your opinion. I really would appreciate it!!!
THANKS

You need to work on your auction titles to attract more people to your auctions. And vary the words in each one to attract a broadest range of hits as possible.

Subtitles to not count for searches...my opinion is that they are not worth the money unless your have something very important to say for to a collector that doesn't fit in the title. You would spend your money much better on a gallery photo that a subtitle.

The best thing to do is just think of the words you would type in if you were searching for yarn. Those are the words that should be in your title.

I took a closer look...all your items are in your store. Store items do not show up in searches on eBay...you have to be creative in getting people in there. The best thing to do is start an auction and link all your other yarn in your store inside the body of the auction. Write the explanation and then put in links to the individual items or a general link to the store. You can see an example of linking inside an auction to a store HERE

It really is kind of a rip off - if I pay for the $50.00 a month store it will show up in searches but I think that price is crazy!!! You would think they want you to sell so they can get their percentage, but they want to get into your wallet too! I do keep at least 1 open auction so someone hopefully will click and go to my store. I guess I will give it a month and then see what happens. We are having a garage sale and I advertised yarn and will pass out a card with my store on it, so hopefully that will generate some sales.
Thanks for your input.
Hope your wife's store does really good!!
