Default saving money at Disney?

It's been a few years since I've been to Disney World, but my sister is planning a trip with her family. Wondering if anyone has money-saving tips I can pass along to her?

Thanks!

We go to Disneyland, and one great money saver is to pack your own snacks, and a lunch.

www.mousesavers.com is a great resource for money saving tips at Disney World.

We are planning on going to Disney World in 2007. We will probably be staying at value resort on property, I do not want to stay off property. I want the huge Disney experience. I have only been once, DH has never been and neither have the kids. I am putting money aside each month for the trip starting in January since I refuse to use credit cards.

One of the nicest ways to go to Disney World is to become a member of the Disney Vacation Club. If you have patience and plan in advance, you can get your accomodations for no cost, next to nothing, or actually make money by flipping Disney Vacation Club memberships which have "banked points". To execute this strategy, you need to develop a good sense of the market for resales. Some well known Disney resalers are The Timeshare Store, DVC by Resale , and A Timeshare Broker . This thread gives you an idea of what resales are actually going for.
