I was looking at my shopping list and was surprised that I end up spending the most money at Christmas on one of my friends (even more than family). This is because she always gives me a rather expensive gift and I feel I should at least give one back in the ballpark area.
I'm not sure how I feel about this. I have to spend more than I want, but the gifts I get from her are usually very nice and I use them, so they aren't a waste. Who do you spend the most on at Christmas? |

This year it will be my eldest son. I just figure this is his last year to believe in Santa (he's 7) so I'd like to get him the one toy he wants - $100 (includes a special battery). I just hope they don't break it early in the year (please let me get at least 2 years out of it).
Of course, I'm considering buying dh some certificates for massages, so I don't know how much that will cost. I know he'll need them after the move and he's asked for it before. |

My daughter. She's 16 months, and last Christmas she was too little to understand anything, but this year her eyes will light up when she sees all her goodies.

My daughter, or my husband - I don't total it up, but it has to be one of them. Probably DD.

My boyfriend was the largest, with my sister in second place. My parents were a distant third

This year, my dad - I'm being pretty sweet and got him a very nice laptop for his impending world travels in retirement. Most years, my boyfriend. I really like getting people gifts!
