Unhappy How can I get out of debt while on SSI?

I have been racking my brain trying to obtain funds anyway I can.Even begging via a website I created that offers music and chat rooms in exchange for a requested donation. But so far I have not had a single donation made to me.I have tried every other method to obtain funds and have failed. So I ask people who talk about saving money what ideas they would have for a disabled person on social security to obtain money legally to get out of the most serious of debt.

Begging websites don't work. You need to offer something of value to the readers. There are just too many people begging on the Internet these days that it's just impossible to tell who is in real need and who isn't.

If your website is getting traffic, why not try google adsense since it appears some people have done well with it.

I don't know what is google adsense or how it works. What is it?How does it work?My website offers music and chat rooms for free. They were free to me and free to anyone who uses them from free webs.com.I also have a request out there on save me sites. But so far all I get is scam emails from Nigerians and such.I broke down and asked a local church leader for help but he was only able to help a little.I am wondering what I am going to do for food and such in the meantime. So what is google adsense?Do I have to pay for it?I don't have any money.Do I earn money with it?

Well, for specific advice I'm afraid we'll need some more specifics. Do you have a budget? If so, would you mind posting it? We might to able to whittle down your expenditures. Also, what are your skills? Does SS limit the amount of money you can make or the (legal) ways you can make it? Do you have a family? The more details you are willing to provide the better our chances are of being able to help. We're a pretty creative group.

Google adsense is free. It will give you codes to put on your website. It will then seach your content and post (hopefully) relevant ads. You can see examples on the right. It's free to sign-up and it pays when people click. It takes awhile to get to the minimum payout, but it's something.

Ok here it is broken down for you:
I earn 840.00 a month on social security
I am not allowed to earn anything over that or I will lose my disability payments and insurance
I have a mass of payday loans that total 1,700.00
I have a utility bill for electric that is 4 month late and is over 230.00

You need to go to your local charities and see what they can provide. But this is temporary help to get you through for a short time.

Asking for money is not going to solve your problems because it doesn't address the issue of how you can earn more money. There isn't a quick fix and it's going to take a lot of time to get something going that is earning you a bit of money.

I don't know much about adsense other than what I've read. It's the advertisements you see on this site. When people click on them, it earns money. It's free to sign up. Others can give you more information I'm sure.

What are your current living expenses and your current income?

How about other expenses? Rent? Mortgage? Food? Etc? Also, is the $1700 the total on the payday loans or the amount due every month? Do you expect to be off of SS at some point or is this likely a permanent situation?

It looks like you're in a catch 22. If you can't earn more money, you can't possibly pay off your debts. How much is the disability payments and insurance worth?

see expenses and earnings above...I have tried charities and the only thing I have come to so far for financial help is a Jewish service that loans money to people with bad credit but you have to be Jewish and I am not.Almost all of my check goes to payday loans.I really wish there was a rich person with a charitable heart out there who grants people like me with help that I could get help from but that is just not reality. And because there are so many scammers out there it is really hard to get help using the web.But it was my last ditch effort because I have tried everything else possible.

I am not sure what you mean worth?I am paid disability because I can't work and so I get SSI (Social Security). My Medi-Cal pay all my medical bills. But that's it.I have no other source of income and I am not permitted to have any without losing some or all of my benefits.Which leaves charity, donation, and loans.

The people here will support you and try to give suggestions, but you're going to have to do it yourself. It's not going to be easy, but it can be done if you want. Is there a food bank or place that serves free meals in your area? If so, you need to begin taking advantage of this.

You also need to find a solution of not being able to earn money.

Ok..First, my payday loans are reaccuring.Which mean each month I have to pay them. And because I don't earn the money to pay them off I have to reborrow to pay them.Second, I don't have any friends at least none I could stay with and my family disowned me-don't ask why becasuse I don't even know why.Third my credit is worse then my debt.At least with my debt I have options. My credit will never be something I can fix on my present income and needs. Finally I have no assets of value that I could sell or obtain a credit loan on.That is why I have asked you guys for your thoughts.Because I have no other solution.I have tried everything you can think of except giving up...................

Stop paying the payday loans and use the money for what you really need.

Ok..I think I already did this but here it is again:

I earn 840.00 a month on social security disability
I owe 1,700.00 aproximate in payday loans that I have to constantly repay every month because in order to pay them I have to reborrow.I have rent.I have utiltiys and of course I must eat.So you can see, by breaking it down, right there the problem.
