I'm using my knitting talents to make a bunch of gifts this christmas. So my cost for my sister will be the price of yarn to make a messenger bag she's mentioned wanting before, and maybe a DVD because she's really into movies. Also with knitting - Im making my parents a smallish area rug for one of the rooms they just remodeled (i bought the materials for this a while ago). need to think of some other things to accompany it for mom and dad.
Luckily I have a small family.

I did make a "no-gift pact" with my mom and her partner, and I'm only spending $40 on my sister. I usually spend closer to $100, but I splurged for her 40th birthday a few weeks ago so she urged me to be really frugal buying her Xmas present. Usually I just ignore her but this year I'm gonna say, thanks! I'll take you up on that.

We have onoly immediate family members that we get gifts for and I'm keeping it to $50 cash spent (gift cards) for the boys, making them presents to open, made my son's girlfriend her present, will be making hubby's presents, and will get my brother an Amazon gift card. Any other present given will be hand made. I have lots of 'ingredients' and if I feel good I really enjoy working on them. I can't even imagine spending $75-100+ per person. We can not afford to do that.
