5 things you want?
What five things (material products or services) do you want right now? If you had all five, would you be more satisfied than you are now?

Re: 5 things your want?
I would like:
1) Someone to clean my house.
2) Our mortgage to be paid off.
3) A brand new family room set to replace the one the cat has scratched to shreds.
4) A trip for five to Disneyland.
5) Our bedroom to be professionally decorated.
No, none of this would make me more satisfied because, other than the mortgage being paid off, it's all material. One day we'll have all these things, and it won't change the fact that my family is what's most important to me!

Re: 5 things your want?
1) my bills to be paid off (working really hard on this!)
2) a pay increase so I could pay for DD's school next year! (working on this, but it seems to be going nowhere!)
3) a new car to replace my 1995- Daewoo fino
4) a whole new wardrobe
2 is the one that would give me more satisfaction, it would make 1 and 3 easier and might even make 4 a possibility!

3. Aviary closer

5. Money to go to the science center

Re: 5 things your want?
I am a very easy to please person! I like my car and house...I prefer cards, the radio, and rented movies for entertainment (less clutter)...hmmm...
I guess I could come up with a few luxuries that I usually won't buy for myself:
1. Massage (weekly would be nice!)
2. Ability to vacation more (cash, time off, babysitting)
3. Children's play place (like a Discovery Zone...ours closed) close to home (we live in a rural area)
4. A remote car starter for these cold NY winters - this is on my b-day list and I am hoping DH gets it for me!
5. Free gas - or just gas cards!
Pretty pitiful list...I guess that's a good thing Yes, I would be more satisfied because the things on my list would, for the most part, address life's little inconveniences or just provide me with some relaxation. Some of these things I could buy myself, but I rarely feel justified spending money on things we don't need...which is why they go on the birthday list

Re: 5 things your want?
1. All debt paid off.
2. Enough money to travel at least 4 times a year.
3. Enough money to buy a small winter home someplace warm or a motorhome to live in someplace warm.
4. kitchen remodeled
5. bathroom remodeled.
6. New car
Oops that's 6! None of this would make me more satisfied really as I don't feel dissatisfied now really, but it would make life easier and perhaps a little more fun. Also my dh has healthy problems up here in the wet cold winter, so needs to go to a warm place to be more comfortable.

Re: 5 things you want?
I'm presuming this meant "things", as in physical things.........at least that is the way I'm going to interpret it....
1) A new serger; I can make money with this, adding to my $20.00 challenge
2) A furnace; we bought this house with a heat pump & it doesn't work, it's dead beyond repair
3) A clothesline
4) Chicks, so I can build up a new flock of egg layers in my backyard
5) a new freezer; I've got one here on loan, but I'd love my own

Re: 5 things you want?
Wow that is a good question. I really want an air purifier for the bedroom. I would like new chairs for the sitting area in the bedroom. A "comfortable mattress", new carpet, and steps down into the creek (we had some, but they got washed away.

Re: 5 things you want?
Hmmmm...fun! It's ok to dream, right?
1. a house
2. a second car
3. a Bissell steam mop
4. a carpet cleaner
5. a big tv.....
Would I be more satisfied, probably.... But, all of these things will be mine someday with some hard work. And I think I will be much more satisfied if I work for them than if they were handed to me, kwim?

Re: 5 things you want?
I forgot to say, a maid.
I would love to have a local honkey tonk to go dancing on the weekends.
That would make me much happier.
