Hope I didn't have to put these in a particular order because I don't think I could. I realize they aren't things but they do have a couple things in common. They involve money and they are all not obtainable!

1) A substantial amount of money saved
2) A hom of my own
3) A nice car
4) a really nice (long term) /honest relationship
5) My college degree

3. time - 36 hour days, maybe (just for me, not everyone else)
4. film - all of Jackie Chan's (only the 50+ I don't already own)
5. money - enough to start my business

If someone else is paying for them (a mysterious benefactor, for example ... don't we all wish):

2. Housekeeper
3. Personal Assistant
4. Swimming Pool
5. Grand Duplex Suite on the QM2 81 day Maiden World Voyage (only $186K!!!)
These would impove my quality of life only if I did not have to pay for them myself.


If I am going to have to fork over the money myself:
1. Vegetable Garden
2. Braces for the hubby
3. A scooter (for when our older car dies and we go from two cars to one)
4. Occasional day at doggie day care for the pooch (once a month would be enough)
5. Funds in an account to pay for our nieces and nephews senior year of college (if they and their parents can manage the first 3 years, it would be nice to help them out in the home stretch).
The first 3 would improve our quality of life. The last 2 would just be nice to do.

1. My health to stablize

3 to solve my housing problem. I have a 2400 sq ft house that I really can't afford but am terrified of selling.

5. a new (or another) computer. This is sort of a half want half need. Its probably a want since I can't decide

Would I be more satified. I suspect not. I am already a very happy, satified person despite the fact that this list sounds neurotic.

I'll assume everyone wants the Miss America answers (world peace, a cure for terrible diseases, etc.) so here's what I, personally, want.

1.) My emergency fund replenished
2.) My car funds complete
3.) Our student loans paid off
4.) Money to improve our home (painting, decorating, etc.)
5.) Really good cleaning service

Listing this out makes me actually feel pretty content, because nothing there seems impossible. It's just going to take some time!
