Default Black Friday

How many of you are going to hit the Black Friday sales this year? Any strategies you'd like to share? You can get a sneak-peek at the ads by doing a google search for black friday ads.

I refuse to get up that early for anything. Now, I could stay up all night, but no one will go for that with me.

I haven't decided yet if or how much shopping I will do. I do like going out though. One year I dragged my mom to the Magnificent Mile to window shop. It was a lot of fun. We even saw someone doing a wedding registry that day...wacko person.

I am hoping Office Max has the same rebate deals as last year ~ I walked away with SOOOOOOOO much free stuff (After rebate). I got a new keyboard, disks, cases, pens, computer cleaner, computer programs, rewriteable DVDs, a memory card for my digital camera, a phone, a universal remote, a CD tower and more! All FREE, except for tax. It was unbelievable. What I didn't use I sold or donated. The downside...they are not quick with paying out. I keep good records and copy everything with them...

And I plan to hit a few other places as well. It's hard to know where to spend the precious morning hours for the best sales...

I can't wait!!!!! I am so excited. This is our third year to go and we make a day of it. We shop and have lunch and just have a general good time. We are at Wal-mart by 5:00. That line means nothing btw. We have found that people are pretty nice. Usually there is alot of joking around. We usually see at least one person we know. We have four small children and 1 adult child and this helps so much. Matter of fact last year two of our neices got dvd players. the key is finding everything!!
