Default How Much for a T-Bone steak??

so what brings this up ya ask?? here in orlando you can get a T-Bone for $9.99 if your lucky usually about $10.99 a pound is the norm.... I wet to visit my sis in chicago last year and they had the same size T-Bones you get here for $4.99 a pound, thats a huge diffrence, hubby says it's from all the farms in illinois!

so how much is a T-Bone in your neck of the woods?

$7.99/lb this week. But, ummm, I live in Illinois Quite a ways south of Chicago tho.

I think we paid $3 a pound we get it in bulk from where dh works he works as an electrician for a company that take the cows & turns them into T-bone but we also live in the land of cows so they dont have far to go here VS say FL where I am not sure but I dont think they have any cows.

we supposedly are a producer of steaks, but if that were true we should be paying less for meat??? I heard on the news we produce like 40% of the steak we eat.... yes there are many cows in florida!

Really I didnt know thier were any in FL I live in IA I thought the majority of the cows lived here
