I have a hard time finding the coupons I need for the groceries I buy. Does anyone have good sugestions on how to get the coupons I want without paying for them?

I take a look in the Sunday paper and if there are a good selection of the products I use, then I make sure to take a long walk on Tuesday evening.

Wednesday moring is our recycle day so all the bottles, cans and old newspapers are usually placed out on Tuesday evening. As I walk the dog, I will take the coupon inserts from the Sunday papers that have been left out. This gives me at least 10 copies, and I can get a lot more if there happens to be a really good coupon that I want. Of course, all these are free.

I used to get mine from the corner store. They'd let me have any of the leftover copies late Sunday evening. I know some stores won't give them away because they need to count the unsold papers though.

I also visit coupon trading forums and trade for coupons.

I've also used coupon services. It's worth it to me to get the exact coupons I want/need for a sale.

Check out the Freebies/Coupons sections of this site. Many online only and special offers are posted there. You DON'T have to print out all the coupons, many allow you to request by mail. Also, sign up for email from brands you particularly like, and they will alert you to coupons, special promotions, etc. Register your dogs with IAMS, Purina, etc., each will send you coupons.

Some manufactures will NOT send coupons if you write to them, but many will. Again, coupon section of this site is excellent for finding them.

sunday papers, boxes of food ,bags of food, call the manufactures they all have 1-800#s most of them will send coupons and samples but some are stingy its better to call them then to write them, the little machines next to products in store you might not need it then but you can still use it later ,before you wast paper and ink make sure there is a store that takes online coupons before you print them it could be a wast for you, alot of manufactures have web sites that have printable coupons, go to coupon forums, fast food, clothing, hardware, lumber, paint, anything you need you can almost find a coupon for it look on the net before you buy, it can save you alot of money
