I have an index card organizer box I got during back-to-school sales. I can fold any coupons that don't fit into the size. The paperclips keep it from getting out of control, and the small size fits into my larger purse. (I have a baby.) The box is small, hard plastic like a recipe box.

I have a friend who writes up her weekly shopping list on an old envelope, stuffs in the coupons she expects to use, and shops from it. She carries in her box in case she runs into a deal, but doesn't have to open it to shop from her list.

i like that idea--I have been clipping them to my list, which sometimes gets misplaced. An envelope sounds like a better way! Thanks.

Hey thanks for the deal a go go site. It is really nice. These are the nicest things to share with others. Lori, may God bless you for sharing. I like the site and have learned a few things. The Kroger deal on Goldfish crackers. Went and got some today and came home and they are 2 weeks expired. I called Kroger and told them I want to be compensated for the bad food and asked them if they were a day old bread store. I am not happy about this. I have to return them this afternoon. Wonder what Kroger will give me to make me happy. Thought you would like to know you helped another soul out here. God Bless.

I usually know what I am going to buy before I hit the store so I pick out my coupons before hand and take those with me and if I don't know whats on sale I usually grab a couple of the same product diffrent brand couopns so when I am at the store I can see which is cheapest the use that coupon and put the others aside..... works pretty well for me!

I put them in my price book. That way when I'm comparing prices to see which is the lowest, I also see whether or not I have coupons to make the deal even sweeter.

This doesnt work well if you have an electronic price book.

Hello, this is a long way to organize coupons, I use a glue stick, and dap a bit on the back of the coupon, and slap them into an old notebook, (organized by expiration date, amount, category). They don't get ruined, and all I have to do is flip through the book to find the coupon, it's very handy once it's completed. I always get asked about it when I'm in the stores.

What I want to know is, are most stores the same when it comes to what's in what isle. Because I don't just shop at one store. So say Cereal and Baked goods are in one isle at one store, then at another store, Baked Goods are with Condiments then how would that work.

Organizing by expiry date is fine, if your trading and you have a list. But I'm forever forgetting to get my coupons, and have yet to find a great system.

couponmom.com is the best site! It saves me so much time. You don't have to cut out and file all the coupons every week, because the site tells you which items are on sale when, and which coupon pack contains the desired coupon. You can also do a search if you want to see if your coupon packs contain a coupon for a particular item. I am such a convert. I used to do grocerygame, but not anymore!

i personally have tried alot of different ways that have been mentioned already.. i now use free long envelopes from the bank.
1. labeled bathroom for cleaning, toothpaste, plastics, etc.
2. labeled kitchen, for just about everything in the kitchen.
3. labeled baking, bake supplies, and frozen foods needed baked.
4. labeled breakfast, snacks.
when i go to a store.. i have a wag, ge, dg long envelope for
each store. i fill the store envelope up with coupons from the other 4 envelopes. i also, have a receipts envelope, and a rebates envelope.. i carry to each store a long envelope with the label giveaway... i usually find someone to give it to when i am out shopping.. i carry all this with me with a rubberband around all envelopes.. i cannot tell you the times i have stood in an aisle and gave or traded coupons and forms. i am constantly weeding out, giving, or trading coupons.. so, my stash is not alot to carry around.. if i need a certain coupon, i search the net and try to find it for free.

I use the binder with baseball card holders in them and I organize my coupons by aisle in the store (since I usually shop at 1 or 2 stores only and they both have the same basic layout).
