Default What would you do?

I love Boson Market chicken pot pies and when I want to reward myself, I will get myself one. I picked up one for dinner last night and while eating it, there was a bone inside. It didn't hurt me badly (it wa sharp at one end and pricked my cheek like a needle), but it was about 2 inches long and if I had swallowed it accidentally could have easily gotten lodged in my throat. I feel very lucky that that didn't happen.

I called their 1-800 and told them. They are going to contact the store and contact me later. I wasn't going to complain since nothing happened, but decided to since if this happened to a child, it could have had serious consequences.

I'm just wondering what I should say when they call me back. Should I just accept whatever their response is or should I be reporting this to other agencies, too? What would everyone here do?

I'd definitely wait until you see what they say--make sure you're comfortable with their response. I wouldn't wait more than another day to find out what the result is. This could potentially be very serious for their business and they should take prompt action on it. Did you by any chance save the bone and bring it back to the Boston market where you purchased it? At the least, you should get an apology and a free meal out of it.
