What does Coupon “Rolling” Mean?

Hey guys, I’m a newbie here.. Can anyone explain me what does Coupon rolling mean? Does Coupon rolling is somewhat to a Coupon deal? Any help much appreciated.

A rolling coupon is a coupon that you print from, say coupons.com. The expiration date is calculated from the date you printed it.

It could be that the cvs extra care bucks that print when you buy a qualifing purchase, then "rolling" them into the next transaction.
