I am a big BBQ fan so I will celebrate the day with some delicious steaks. Really looking forward to the party with my friends and family. I will do BBQ not only because it's tradition. I just love the taste of grilled meat and the outdoor atmosphere.

Hi , and welcome to the forum , it sounds great === too great === I am getting hungry again , though I go for white meat only , nothing against red just stop one day , and that was it . I wonder if the taste is different using propane or old good carbon / wood ?====== at any rate have a great four .

This could be a discussion in and of itself. I do both. Usually propane when time is tight and wood/charcoal when I have the time to get the coals right. My preference is either wood or charcoal.

I really never payed attention to this detail before , but at least you will barbecue . You know in a few days I am going to try to find out if for me there is any difference in taste , though the way I remember this place that just did barbecue using just wood , hickory wood ? or whatever it was pronounced , and let me tell you it was the best Barbecue in town , not even Tony Roma could get close to that taste , or that fragrance ==== fresh cornbread [ my favorite ] with sweet col slaw ----- wow I can't wait for Saturday oh yeah I am sorry you have to work that day , but hopefully , you decide to grill Sunday

I think time on the grill may make the difference between whether coals or propane is better. For something quick like steaks or fish it probably isn't a big difference. For something like ribs or chicken, that take longer, I thinks coals definitely add to the flavor.

GREENBACK- Ranchers Reserve is brand of meats that’s only available at Safeway stores. All of the meat is hand selected and has a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

I've heard of "Safeway" stores but am not sure if they're in my area(Ohio). I'll give it a try if they are.
