This is really basic but I am embarrassed to ask at the supermarket over $.75 or something. Anyway, when you get one of those checkout coupons for let's say "$.75 off when you purchase 6 jars of Beech Nut baby food"
. . .and at the top it says "Manufactuerer Coupon. Expires 5/1/2009" but then on the side it says "Redeem @ Shoprite/Acme". . .do you have to redeem it at Shoprite or Acme or wherever the coupon was issued or because it's a manufacturer coupon, can you go anywhere? I can tell if the "Redeem @. . ." is a suggestion or a command, LOL. |

Some stores like Publix will accept competitor coupons while other stores won't accept them. To be sure, go to the corporate web site of the store you're interested in and take a look at the corporate coupon policy. It will usually state whether they accept competitor coupons or not.
