I wish I had kept the article. There was something in the news a couple of weeks ago about "super foods" that could extend your life 5 years or more if you ate them regularly. I remember it because some of the foods I really like - dark chocolate, red wine. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can find that list?

I think you might be referring to the "polymeal"
<A HREF="http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2004/12/041217104020.htm">Scientists Discover Recipe For Life: Eating The 'Polymeal' Cuts Heart Disease By 76%</A> and here is the original study <A HREF="http://bmj.bmjjournals.com/cgi/content/full/329/7480/1447?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=&full text=polymeal&andorexactfulltext=and&searchid=1105 544163042_13119&stored_search=&FIRSTINDEX=0&sortsp ec=relevance&resourcetype=1">The Polymeal: a more natural, safer, and probably tastier (than the Polypill) strategy to reduce cardiovascular disease by more than 75%</A> |

Now that is a study I can agree with! No I didn't read it, don't want common sense to enter here. I am sticking with the memory of Midnight, Red wine and chocolate, here I come!

wine, fish, dark chocolate, fruits and vegetables, almonds and garlic, eaten on a daily basis (but four times a week for fish). QUOTE I just wish I could find good fish here. |

Ugh I cannot handle the smell taste feel of fish. I keep trying but I can't get it. Anyone have any good fish recipes?
For that matter what fishes are not fishy? Like salmon and tuna are much too strong. Sole was pretty fishy as well. Halibut was okay. |

My super secret method for liking fish. Get pregnant
. Unfortunatly if you already like fish you may turn around and hate fish. It is a very tricky operation. So far I like tuna, and fish sticks made with real fish, not the smushed stuff. I find salmon to be bearable, but who can afford that stuff? |

No complaining about food prices until you live in Japan - the land of everything being outrageously priced!

Apparently tomatoes are incredibly good for you, and cooked ones are better than uncooked.
This is handy, as they can be incorporated into many meals without even noticing, if you don't actually like them! |

We picked several of the ifoods that we don't usually eat and have tried to incorporate them into our meals:
Polymeal foods red wine fish dark chocolate fruits and vegetables almonds garlic While I was looking for this, I also found lists of "super foods" that also look like they are worth adding to your diet if possible: Superfoods Broccoli Carrots Chili Peppers Spinach Mushrooms Tomatoes Strawberries Papaya/Pineapple/Kiwi Mangoes Citrus Fruits Bananas Garlic Green Tea Soybean/Tofu Salmon Oats |
