Default Kids off from School for a Week

The kids are off from school all of next week which is bitter sweet for me on the one hand I am glad to have them home and for them to just relax on the other hand they fight like cats and dogs So I am trying to think of things to do with them to keep them occupied for a while that will not break the bank. So far we have scheduled my dh is taking them to the aquarium or zoo (depends on the whether) on Monday we have the season pass so that will not cost anything and on Tuesday I will be off from work so I will take them to the movies our cable co. has a deal with one of the move places by our house 2 free tixs on Tuesday and up to 4 tixs for 4 bucks. After that I am at a loss. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Park..nature walks don't mind cold states bundle up and return home for a hot lunch.

Games..not sure the spread of ages, but most can be adapted for a wide range.

Library (ours has computers in addition to books)

Nature center? we found nestled out of sight of traffic in our local park a nature center..it just has a few things, but still cool. (and free)

A major mess/craft project...painting a model (many kits are inexpensive and easy to build.) making some cards (vday is late but Ester isn't too far) or decorations....

Visit family..if you have some that you rarely see..or try a nursing home if not...nobody will mind if you are not related, the staff will point you to a talkative resident...ask about 'way back when' since you don't know em you wont have already heard the story
