Default Yeast help

I use bulk yeast and most my recipes call for yeast by measurements. Now I have found a recipe to use that calls for 2 packets of yeast. Anyone know how much yeast is in a packet????

Try this:

RED STARŪ Active Dry Yeast is available in strips of three 1/4 -ounce packets and in 4-ounce jars. One 1/4 -ounce packet of active dry yeast is equal in activity to one 0.6-ounce cake of yeast. Three 1/4 -ounce packets are equal in activity to one 2-ounce cake of yeast. A 1/4 -ounce packet of active dry yeast contains approximately 2-1/2 teaspoons; the measurement will not be exact as yeast is packaged according to weight rather than volume. A packet of yeast is sufficient to raise 4 cups, approximately 1-pound, of flour.

i've always heard (and i think its on the hillbillyhousewife bread section) that 1 pack of yeast equals 2 and 1/4th teaspoons.

I bought some tortelli in a BOGO. I am going to make that, salad, and some bread. What is on your menu today?

It is important to use skin friendly products and not pinch the pustules so that there are no scars formed. A good soap like Neutrogena or Cetaphil is recommended. Mild oil free skin creams should only be used
