Lightbulb Latest Trend: Online Grocery Shopping & Delivery

Anyone notice? I went to Sam's Club.com and Albertsons and now they both offer Delivery & Online Ordering. How convenient if you never plan on leaving the house but it can also get expensive.

I have never ordered gorceries online. But, I think it is a great service. When we have children I will get them delieverd to my house. It'll be one less thing to do.
Also, when I get older and can't drive I'll get them delivered. I don't want to be a burden. Have a computer will make all of that so much easier!

I AGREE! This service is Great for older people or those who are handicap and I love Services like this! Where I used to work I could have a SLC Waiter deliver lunch but it was $10 a pop but for ANY restuarant they had listed on their website.

I usually can't spend more than $20 at the same store because I choose only the items that are really good deals. And I don't think, you can see all the markdowns online. So, spending extra $5 of $10 for just delivery is way too expencive. It only makes sence to do so if the store is more than 30 miles away.

I was doing online grocery shopping and delivery for a while (couple weeks? Maybe a month?) but I noticed I was spending more on groceries when I didn't have to worry about carrying them home (I have no car). Still, I'm sure for some people the convenience makes up for the added cost.
