Kasha, the buckwheat stuff you cook as a side dish. I buy it when I'm on a health kick, then forget to cook it. It's easy, and DH and I both like it. But when it's time to throw dinner on the table, I never think to cook it. I have an unopened box that's been around for at least 6 months.

I accept other people's cupboard cleanings, so that adds to my array of not oft used foods.

(I swear, people feel guilty if they don't eat the stuff, and once one person gave me a bag of odds and ends, it snowballed. I think it honeslt relieves their guilt.)

Every so often I try to attack the dusty foods. And every year or so I donate; bring the bag to work, offer, take what's not taken to food bank.

I have a lots of sauces/pastes/marinades that I need to tackle. Other than that right now I'm okay.

Princess P, I use the corn syrup I'm trying to use up for half the sweetener in the TG muffins. I'm making headway. And I won't buy it again.

Green apple mint jelly - use at Christmas time. I buy it whenever I spot it because it is sometimes hard to find. I have several.

-Cheap Office Party Christmas Recipe -

Take one brick of cream cheese. Put on paper plate. {this way he can't forget to bring my china home!
Pour mint jelly out of jar on top.
Add a little bit of red pepper flakes on one end - not everyone likes the pepper, so 1/2 and 1/2.
Serve with fancy crackers and a real knife. Everyone spreads their own.

It does taste good and looks pretty - but there it sits IN CABINET'E - eL hubSter forgot to take it last year! And maybe the year before that?? I dunno - fraid to look at expy.date!
