Smile healthy foods for the kids?

we went to mcd's today to play.. we ordered 3 waters at no charge.. went home and had lunch.... kids will not eat mcd's food... they don't like it...
do tell your ideas for good food.
they love peanut butter on wheat crackers, carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower with ranch dip..
they eat a small amount of nuts, they love raisins..
chase would drink all the milk gone if i would let him, i add powdered milk to it for more calcuim
they love yogurt raisins, ice cream and yogurt with fruit in it.
we have had healthy apple pancakes, waffles, french toast, eggs of all sorts....
they have fruit and juice daily and 4 cups of water..

Some restaurants have 'fruit cups' (if you HAVE to eat out)

Some kids like salad, mine use BBQ sauce instead of dressing.

Pretty much whatever is healthy for you is fine for a kid (barring choking risks, and generally if they can eat a nut you are safe)

If you often need to eat 'out of the house' try making a calzone, it is like a pizza folded in half, use a rolling pin to roll out the dough (storbought mix, or use the easy recipe I posted somewhere)

But don't think you have to stuff it with pizza stuff (though that is good too) I made chicken 'bites' (mini calzones) last night to share at a party, it was just chicken, cause for some reason I am out of veggies, but I woudl like to have used em!

Beef N brocolii is a family favorite, so is cheese and bacon and green peas.

I know from other posts you are more to the veggies than the carnivour, so go for just veggies..white pizza sauce with spinach sounds good to me.

thanks for the link... we have done all of those things already... we do enjoy an ice cream cone after chase's nap everyday... chocolate milk made with milk and chocolate syrup is another easy treat for them, they love. gummmmmmmmmm is the winner.........no candy...... they ask for soda and i give them a small amount each day and they have a toast, and say salute and cheers... too funny.

I have making microwave popcorn with the microwave popcorn maker. No oil added. But, I do add real butter and salt for them and they love it. Kids love carrot sticks also.
I have been trying to get them to eat healthier. I also ask to substitute something in place of FF for kid's meals. Usually applesauce, cottage cheese, etc.
