Food processors

Can anyone give me any ideas and/or websites on how and what i can make with my food processor. I want to put it to use. Thanks a lot.

I make meat spreads for sandwich fillings with mine............absolutely one of the most frugal things to do with leftover bits of meat. Great with ham, turkey, beef, chicken. Chop the meat up fairly fine, dump into a bowl, then chop up onion & celery, not quite so fine.....and add to meat. Mix with mayo, and any seasonings you like. That's it. Yummy.
My household now asks for the meat spread when they see a big hunk of meat in the oven..........they are counting on it even before they have the first meal from the roast or whatever.

Processors are great to mix up pie crusts too.

I use mine when I'm prepping tons of things............just rinse it out and keep going. Chopping onions is one great use here at my house.....

I never thought of the meat spread. I make chicken salad with food processor.

On this subject...my parents got me a Kitchenaid 5qt Artisan Mixer for graduation last year and I have yet to use it. Our counter space is limited in our aparment right now, so it basically stays in the cupboard. I desperately want to use it to justify its existence, but I haven't had a need for it yet.

I make cole slaw with mine. I also chop up onions and store them in the freezer for recipes that require cooked chopped onions. It keeps me from crying so often over a cutting board.

I got mine as a wedding present, and don't use it too much either.

Hey, homemade salsa might be another good endeavor. . .
