i never did. to keep em lighter, i hear pouring sprite or 7 up over them helps keep them lighter. my son loved oatmeal, i just took a few of the chips, 3 at most, and put them in my mini chopper, and poured it over his oatmeal. it was his fave morning treat. at the time i started that, he was my only child, so its been a long time now.lol hes 21 and has son of his own, my youngest is only four.

Bananas never last at my house. When it looks like there will be a couple left I freeze them. The kids have always though it was a bigger treat than ice cream. Just peal and wrap in saran or put into a container and pop into the freezer. By dinner time you have the ultimate treat. My DH thought they should be chocolate covered but after tasting one changed his mind. Although if I offered he'd eat them with chocolate!

chips last tho too. they dont spoil as quickly. when you chop em up too, they would be gr8 add to a muffin mixture as well. i love the brown sugar texture.
