Default What's the last thing you ate and how much did it cost?

I'm wondering if this little game will help me eat a little better if I know I have to write what I ate and how much it cost each time I come here. I'm not starting off on a good foot....

Ice-cream with a peanut butter fudge topping: $1.19

What about you?

A piece of chocolate cake that Dh won in a fundraiser cake walk...cost me nothing, but I think he paid $20 for it--the money went to help provide Christmas gifts for low income families.

Leftover fried rice, dunno how much, but couldn't be much, though it was brown rice. DH is constantly trying to get me to switch to white.

The last thing I ate was a mini baby ruth bar. The entire bag was $2. I am not going to calculate how much each baby ruth was, sorry.

PP - brown rice is healthier for you!

Creamy peanut butter on a toasted english muffin.
Probably about .25. Don't ask me calculate the energy costs from the toaster, though.

Muffins for breakfast. I make them in bulk, super healthy, and use leftover carrots, etc. Cost about 50 cents each. But gourmet coffee beans, cost, well, hubbie buys it and I probably don't want to know!

Yeah, after those pickles I got hungry too!

We had spaghettti last night. A bi-monthly staple in our house. $2.00 worth of ground beef, (I cooked a $4 package and froze the rest for another meal.) A $.79 can of Hunts and maybe $.21 for the small amount of pasta I cooked last night. We ate half of the sauce and froze the rest for another meal.

So the total for the meal was $3.00 and will be eaten twice. $1.50...pretty cheap!

Greek food for free (with a 2 drink minimum purchase) so it came out to 15$ - not cheap, but not bad considering I got to eat exotic food and drink for only $15!!!
