Default Anyone else's Greenthumb itching?

I'm so ready for spring I've been plotting out in my mind just what I want to do to the garden & where I need to go & when for seeds & plants.
*sigh* The real downer is we are getting a BLIZZARD TONIGHT!

I'm so jealous, my green thumb has been itching forever. I live in an apartment right now and before we lived in condo and our backyard was a one car garage *sigh*. We are hoping to be able to get a house this fall, alas too late for a harvest this year but it gives me time to plan my future garden out. Any advice or tips for newbie?
