Tomato Abundance

I agree, nothing is as good as canning your own. I am longing for the garden already. It is not as snowy, but has been unusually cold in Northern Utah this year. So, I'm pouring over seed catalogs and coveting one of everything.

We can pour over them together. I've been in my house for a full year now and this is the year I'm going to container garden. I have an abundance of herbs already just waiting to be planted and grown and my DH bought me a topsy turvy tomato planter for Christmas. I've started amassing my containers (on sale from end of season stuff). Now to just figure out which "maters" I want to grow

I've decided to plant some unusual trees in containers--kumquat and limequat that I can put outside in the summer and bring back inside during the frostier times. I've also wanted magnolias and found they do grow here.
I into the tax season with clients just now, but I'm ready to have an indoor adventure as well.
I'v done basil and sage in pots and they do ok, but much better in some squarefoot areas I have. I failed at a high tunnel last fall. WRONG spot! But I've been wanting a greenhouse and hop to accomplish it this spring to lengthen the season.

salsa, ketchup, hot sauce, canned tomatoes, stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, diced tomatoes to freeze or can, tomato juice.....

No such thing as too many tomatoes!!
