Art Thieves Slam Door, Get Caught

Lesson for would-be art thieves: Shhh, be quiet! A slamming door foiled the plans of two men who police say tried to steal a large painting out of the Hyatt Regency in downtown Albuquerque on Saturday.

The slamming door alerted security guards that something was amiss and they chased the men, who dropped the painting worth as much as $10,000 in a downtown parking garage, court records showed.

The guards caught up with one man they believe was one of the suspected thieves... Entire Story Here
