Let's see--we found a $600 for my brother-in-law, through that website where you locate unclaimed funds. And printed out the right forms for him, since he doesn't have access to a computer.

I got frustrated shopping at Acme and gave one of their $5 off $25 coupons to a sorry-looking guy in the checkout before I left in a huff. But I think I did it to cost Acme $5, as much as to help the guy out.

Can't say I've ever made anyone turn frugal who wasn't already--I have enough trouble doing it myself! But I do like exchanging tips with people who are already doing it.

well, my kids. LOL But others...I think I may have by giving them ideas. Some friends have bought in to our timeshares (upon our referring them) and with all the traveling they do I'm sure that has saved them money...it sure has us.

I've helped a few people save money through the creation of a spending plan. With this plan they were better able to see where they could cut expenses. Otherwise, I give lots of advice but it is rare to know if someone actually implements the free advice.

I introduced my neighbor to couponing and got her into it by showing every great deal I got. She finally did it cuz she wanted the good deals to she said! I don't care why as long as she does it. I also share my frees and cheaps with family and friends when I have to many!

I printed one to many coupons today for a store (it was so much percent off one nonesale item) so I have two of my coupons to two people inline. So I know that I saved at least two people money today or this week.

I have handed people coupons in the store. I would be digging through my coupons and had extra or it was for a specific size or product that I wouldn't use and I noticed them buying it.

Once, I had a coupon for a local grocery store ($10 off if you bought $50 worth) and my bill didn't reach the $50 you needed to use the coupon, so I handed it to the person behind me in line. The person was totally shocked. I wouldn't have been able to use it because it was going to expire that day and she definately had $50 worth of groceries. Figured it was my "random act of kindness" for the day!!!
