Default Too hot to cook

This has been a hot summer. We have have temps in the 100 (F) range all week. I couldn't serve sandwiches for supper again so yesterday I took the toaster oven outside and cooked meatloaf and french fries. I also 'nuked a can of vegtables. This worked out great. We had a hot meal and I didn't add any extra heat to the kitchen.

Good plan. I should add that to my "grill everything" idea

We use the grill alot during the summer. We also use the crockpot a lot and I don't find that it adds any heats.

Pasta salads are a good summer meal too.

Get the microwave bacon from Hormel. Warm the bacon and slice some tomato... add two slices of fresh bread and you have fabulous bacon and tomato sandwiches. Add a tall glass of minted iced tea, it's my favourite food for hot weather.
