Default coffee filters

How much do you spend on coffee filters. How much is a dozen cloth diapers. The cloth diapers work great as a reusable coffee filter and are useful for so many other things. Laziness costs a lot of money, disposable costs a lot of money. Recycle and reuse. Now what is your best tip? "Be industrious and free, be fruagl and free", Benjamin Franklin - what a wise man.

I've found coffee filters for 1-2 cents each. That's well worth it because I don't have to do laundry. I only do laundry every 2 weeks or so.

I've used cloth diapers for spit cloths for CJ, so that might have a psychological inpact on why I would not use them for coffee filters. But I see where they might work even though they are a thick cotton.

At dime stores they have good filters for a cheap price, so I have been using their brand.

depends on if you are including the whole cost of water, soap, and diapers in the cost of comparing to coffee filters. I can get a pack of about 200 for less than $2 and it will last close to a year. There is no way that water and detergent will cost that little. So unless you are drinking 3 pots a day it is cheaper to buy the filters. Even if I buy two packs for under $4 I still think that is a better savings.

I buy the generic brand of the coffee filters maybe 2 times a year and it only a couple of dollars. Doesn't really make sense to use a cloth diaper for me.

No baby here so I only buy the diapers when I feel like playing baby new year.

I just buy the store brand of the coffee filters. Lasts me 6 months.
