Actually I always wanted to stick it in a pump bottle with some water, shake and use as soap. but well I do always lose it ![]() When I was a kid we always made it stick to the new one for a time. |

I put them in an old shampoo bottle with a little water and shake it occasionally. When it is runny, I put it in the pump bottle.

Collect them in onion bags and hang them outside near the shrubs, flowers that deer like to eat and it will act as a repellant.

I stick it to my next bar. Always interesting to see how one side of the soap wears down faster than the other.

ha,ha...I have a "soap bag"...it's a bag made out of tulle (sp?) ...that fabric that is used for tutus, mosquito netting and brides' veils?? I have a small bag made of that and I put the slivers of soap in there....works great!...

Place them in an old pair of panty hose and knot the top. Works great!

Liquid soap has its advantages. Refills are cheaper and if you use a plastic pump, less waste to add to the environment.

Plus, when you get near to the bottom, you can just take off the top, pour in some water, and swish it around to get the very last bits.

I put mine in a pump bottle with hot water. Also, I have a small terry cloth bag I put it in (I made it from a washcloth) with a long draw string top to hang it to keep it out of the water. We use that in the shower. I made some of those when the girls were just starting to take their own bath and had a hard time holding onto the slippery soap. Also, I keep a little peice of soap (or a sample size or hotel size bar) in each suitcase to help keep the suitcase fresh smelling when not in use. (And, you can use it if your forget to pack a bar)

Actually, each girl has several (same colors as their toothbrushes and hairbrushes-so we know whose is whose). I just open the drawstring, remove the soap, and throw in the was with the towels. I have also seen them made like pockets--with velcro or zipper closures, and then a hanging loop.
