I occasionally use coupons yes.
But I do not allow the coupons to take over my life.
I do not scour the internet for coupons or look through the newspaper with sissors in hand cutting out every last coupon.
But every now and again something comes along and I say "hey, this coupon is really worth taking my time over"
and I sometimes buy several copies of the same newspaper just to take advantage of a coupon which seems like a good deal.

If I am in a supermarket I sometimes look down on couponers with a certain amount of distain. They hold up the supermarket process. They spend time removing their coupons from their purse which the checkout operator then needs to process. It all takes time.
Save time. Dont coupon unnecessarily.

I think they make healthier bread, because you can avoid all those darn preservatives they put in the store-bought bread you find on the grocery store shelf.
You don't need a breadmaker to make great homemade bread. The easiest bread is no knead bread, but you can find others you can mix by hand or with a stand mixer. I wore out many breadmakers because I made so much and discovered I don't need a breadmaker...just mix my own ingredients for dough and let is rise and bake.

My family prefers homemade bread as opposed to bread made in a breadmaker. The trick is practice. The first few times you make bread, it may seem like a lot of trouble, but if you keep it up, you can whip out a couple of homemade loaves in little time and by frequency, you can learn a lot of little tricks that work best for you and your oven. I make, on average, 3 batches per month, with more in winter and fewer in summer.

I have a notebook with pages like you'd use to organize a baseball card collection. I use the website couponmom.com to match coupons with sales. Saves me a lot of time. I do keep a small stockpile of extra stuff that I know we will use. Saves me gas because I don't have to run to the store as much. I do alright, I accumulated my stockpile with out spending anymore than I used to pre-couponing habit. I consider it a hobby that saves me money. I cut coupons while watching tv and my daughter helps.

I do NOT buy any item that I would not otherwise buy. I do not have a room dedicated like the ppl on TLC show do. I date code my stuff to keep it rotated and ensure I am not buying too much.
