Default House Cleaning tips for Storing Clothing

If you store off-season clothing in the basement, attic, or the closet be sure to follow this time and money saving tip so that you can keep a clean house with investing as little time and money as possible.

Have you ever gone to the closet at the beginning of the winter to get your winter jacket, that’s been hanging there for the last 6 months, only to find that it’s covered in dust? Knowing how to clean is one thing but being proactive and preventing extra cleaning is another.

The next time you pack clothing away for another season, be sure to cover it in plastic. Be proactive when you clean house and get into the habit of keeping those garment bags or the plastic that’s around your clothes when it comes from the dry cleaner’s. Or, in a pinch, a garbage bag will definitely suffice.

This tip for keeping things neat and tidy and clean is not only one of the easiest ways to save money by preventing unnecessary washing, but it’ll also save you some time.
