How and where to sell jewerly

I dont have anything big, just a few pieces, mainly gold and a couple of Silver pendants/
What is the best way to cash them out?

I would recommend checking eBay or Craigslist for comparables. Perhaps you can see how many hits they are getting to see if there is interest in your products. If they have much sentimental value, I would consider keeping them.

If is a generation old or unique just listing it on your local Craigslist may be a less expensive way to sell it than ebay with its fees. Evidently there are jewelry buyers who comb Craigslists all over the country to find good deals on good jewelry. I learned this from the agent handling an estate sale where I bought a nearly antique rug. They sold a lot of jewelry to out of state buyers using Craugslist.

what about all those cash for gold places and websites? You can see the amount they'll buy the stuff form you and then you can agree to take the payment or not! So if you're not happy with what they're offering, then you can get your gold back!

I would check Ebay and online auctions, and then contact a couple of jewelry stores and ask if they are buying and have them give you an estimate.

Cash for gold places buy strictly based on weight. They don't care about the wearability or design or craftsmanship. Basically, they are buying it as scrap metal. If the piece is broken or damaged, that might be the way to go, but if it is actually decent, usable jewelry, you can probably do better than that.

I would use ebay. local craigslist has too many fake buyers, sometimes, it is a wasting time. and cash for gold store will not evaluate it based on style, .... weight only, the price will be too low. Just my 2 cents.

AGREED!!! I tried to sell a diamond ring on craiglist a month ago and I have had African scammers contacting me almost everyday. If you sell on ebay, make sure you have the papers to prove its real otherwise you wont get much money out of the piece.

If you don't have many silver pendants ,just a few , i suggest you can sell it on the street , if you do like this , it will attract the attention to the people , it's possible for you to cash it out
