Default Takeing a drink

We almost always pack a drink for the kids, (and me if pregnant or nursing.)

The juice boxes get squeezed by my one year old so they are out. and a psp bottle of juice gets spilled at the first bump! I have never given my kid a juice bag but I imagine it would spill worse than the box. Not to mention we water down the juice even for me (to sweet straight).

The tupperware lids are not spill proof and the screw top lids of a billion other brands are not usable as cups for DH and I, not to mention take up a huge amount o cupboard space! Same with sport bottles.

So we use the Take and Toss type cups, because the lids for the little containers fit on the cups, so no worry about leaking.
We just trade straight lids for sippy or straw ones when they are ready to drink. Dh doesn't even mind drinking out of it with a straw, though mostly mom and dad just remove lid sip and replace.

me too, walmart had some for 12.76, that keep things cold or hot for 24 hours. its stainless steel, its a gr8 buy. it paid for itself the 2nd week not buying coffee at stations for dave. he works 6p to 6a, so he needs the java for the drive. even taking in his own cup they were charging him .89 cents a cup. thats 8.90 per week. he takes a cup with him and his thermos. he drinks cup on way to work and has his full hot thermos after. which he always took a cup to work, why it only saved 8.90 a week. but for most that stop to and from, that would save an average of 17.80, more then paying for itself the first week even.
